Kantis False Complaints - FDA Says No Way

Glenn Hagele
On one of the many Internet blogs created by Dean Andrew Kantis to attack patient advocate Glenn Hagele, Kantis claims that the FDA, FBI, and Consumer Protection Agency are "investigating" Glenn Hagele and the Council for Refractive Surgery Quality Assurance (USAEyes), a nonprofit patient advocacy that Glenn Hagele founded.

Dean Kantis' accusations are pure fantasy.

In February 2007 Dean Kantis sent a complaint to the FDA that was a virtual duplication of a complaint received by the FDA from another person the previous year. In his complaint, Dean Kantis adds outrageous accusations against Glenn Hagele and USAEyes. In response, the FDA states that it will not investigate the accusations. A copy of the FDA's reply to Dean Andrew Kantis is available at Dean Kantis FDA Fantasy.

Since early 2007 Dean Andrew Kantis has claimed that the FBI and/or Consumer Protection Agency is "investigating" Glenn Hagele and USAEyes, but neither agency has ever contacted Glenn Hagele or USAEyes. Dean Kantis can make frivolous and false complaints to anybody, but clearly the government agencies see them for what they are and are not going to waste their time.
